NOTICE OF CANCELLATION AND CERTIFIED STATEMENT OF RESULTS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the Park Forest Water District, El Paso County, Colorado, that at the close of business on the sixty-third day before the election, there were not more candidates for director than offices to be filled, including candidates filing affidavits of intent to be write-in candidates; therefore, the election to be held on May 2, 2023 is hereby canceled pursuant to section 1-13.5-513(6) C.R.S.
The following candidates are hereby declared elected by acclamation for 4 year terms until May 2027:

A CALL FOR NOMINATIONS
(NOTICE BY PUBLICATION OF)
§1-13.5-501, 1-13.5-1102(3), 32-1-905(2), C.R.S.
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN, and, particularly, to the electors of the Park Forest Water District of El Paso County, Colorado. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an election will be held on the 2nd day of May, 2023, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 pm. At that time, 2 directors will be elected to serve 4-year terms. Eligible electors of Park Forest Water District may obtain a Self-Nomination and Acceptance form from the District website or via request to the Designated Election Official (DEO).

The Office of the DEO is open: Monday, Wednesday, & Friday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm (MST)
All nominations forms must be submitted via email to pfwd@pfwd.org. The deadline to submit a Self-Nomination and Acceptance is close of business 12:00 pm on February 24, 2023. NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN, an application for an absentee ballot may be filed with the designated election official no later than the close of business on Tuesday preceding the election, April 25, 2023. - Tracy MacDonald, DEO
