The Park Forest Water District (PFWD) is a special district that provides safe and dependable drinking water in the Park Forest Estates subdivision in Black Forest, Colorado.
Mission Statement
Your Park Forest Water District Mission is to provide a safe and dependable drinking water supply, on a non-profit basis, to the Park Forest Estates Residents and to all customers within our service area. In providing this service the District seeks to provide abundant and affordable drinking water in a manner that promotes efficient and reliable service. Recognizing that our water resources, valuable for maintaining property values and residential welfare, will no doubt be limited in the future.
Park Forest Water District Goals include providing the highest quality water at the lowest reasonable price, assuring reliability of water sources, storage, and distribution. The District is constantly planning for present and future preservation of a most precious resource through prudent financial, volunteer management and long term regional planning to ensure future generations will be served.

You can now pay PFWD water bill online. A portal administration fee for credit card payments or electronic check payments will be charged and retained by the Portal (not the District). The service fee is $.75 plus 2.25% of the order total for credit payments or $1 for electronic checks.
There is NOW AUTOPAY AVAILABLE!! AutoPay Enrollment is here! We are excited to announce that we will be offering AutoPay for your monthly water payments. If you would like to sign up for AutoPay please complete and return the attached form by email, drop box or mail. Please contact us with any questions.

NOTICE AS TO PROPOSED 2024 BUDGET HEARING AND RATE INCREASE PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a proposed budget has been submitted to PARK FOREST WATER DISTRICT (the “District”) for the year of 2025. A copy of the proposed budget is on file in the office of PFWD Office, 7340 McFerran Rd, Colorado Springs, CO, 80908, where the same is open for public inspection. NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that a rate increase for the year 2025 will be discussed. Such proposed budget and rate increase will be considered at a regular meeting of the District to be held at 11020 Teachout Rd, Colorado Springs, CO 80908 at Our Lady of the Pines Catholic Church, on Tuesday, November 13, 2024, at 6:OO PM. Any interested elector of the District may inspect the proposed budget and file or register any objections at any time prior to final adoption of the budget. * NOTE The rate increase is adding a extra tiered rate of 20,000 + gallons to 18 / per 1,000 gallons. The base rate of $109 will not be raised, nor the tiered rates of 4,001-7000, 7,001-10,000 and so on will not be increased. The 13,000 tiered rate will be broken up from 13,000 to 20,000 at $12 per 1,000 gallons and 20,000 + gallons at $18 per 1,000 gallons.
