The Park Forest Water District (PFWD) is a special district that provides safe and dependable drinking water in the Park Forest Estates subdivision in Black Forest, Colorado.

Mission Statement

Your Park Forest Water District Mission is to provide a safe and dependable drinking water supply, on a non-profit basis, to the Park Forest Estates Residents and to all customers within our service area. In providing this service the District seeks to provide abundant and affordable drinking water in a manner that promotes efficient and reliable service. Recognizing that our water resources, valuable for maintaining property values and residential welfare, will no doubt be limited in the future.

Park Forest Water District Goals include providing the highest quality water at the lowest reasonable price, assuring reliability of water sources, storage, and distribution. The District is constantly planning for present and future preservation of a most precious resource through prudent financial, volunteer management and long term regional planning to ensure future generations will be served.

You can now pay PFWD water bill online. A portal administration fee for credit card payments or electronic check payments will be charged and retained by the Portal (not the District). The service fee is $.75 plus 2.25% of the order total for credit payments or $1 for electronic checks.

There is NOW AUTOPAY AVAILABLE!! AutoPay Enrollment is here! We are excited to announce that we will be offering AutoPay for your monthly water payments. If you would like to sign up for AutoPay please complete and return the attached form by email, drop box or mail. Please contact us with any questions.

NOTICE OF PROPOSED 2026 BUDGET & RATE INCREASE PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the proposed 2026 budget for the Park Forest Water District ("District") has been submitted and is available for public inspection online and at the District Office, 7340 McFerran Rd, Colorado Springs, CO 80908. NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that a rate increase for the year 2026 will be discussed. Such proposed budget and rate increase will be considered at regular meeting of the District to be held at 11020 Teachout Rd, Colorado Springs, CO 80908 at Our Lady of the Pines Catholic Church, on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at 6:00 PM. Interested electors of the District may inspect the budget and file objections prior to final adoption.
